This Privacy Policy explains how [Pay stubs] (“PayStubz”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you use our website, our pay stub generator, or order documents from us through WhatsApp or email (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Document details: employer name and address, employee name and address, pay rate, pay dates, hours, deductions, and any other information you enter to prepare a document.
- Identification numbers: we ask only for the last four digits of a Social Security Number (SSN) or Taxpayer Identification Number. Please do not send a full SSN. If a form legally requires a full number, you add it yourself after download.
- Payment information: payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
- Messages: anything you send us by WhatsApp, email or our contact form.
Information collected automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referring website
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5)
How we use your information
- To prepare, deliver and correct the documents you order
- To process payments and prevent fraudulent transactions
- To answer your questions and provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How we share your information
We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Services (web hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics), under contracts that limit their use of your data
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), when you choose to contact us on WhatsApp. Messages sent through WhatsApp are also subject to WhatsApp’s own Privacy Policy.
- Law enforcement, regulators or courts, when required by law, subpoena or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to prevent fraud or protect the rights, property or safety of PayStubz, our users or others
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged
How long we keep your information
- Document details and completed documents: up to 90 days after delivery, so we can make corrections, and then deleted
- Order and payment records: as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally up to 7 years)
- WhatsApp and email messages: up to 12 months
You can ask us to delete your document details sooner (see Section 7).
Cookies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work (for example, to keep your preview while you edit), and analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Third-party tracking: our analytics provider may collect information about your online activity on our site over time. We do not allow advertising networks to track you across other websites through our site.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common industry standard for them. We do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, where the law requires it.

We use SSL/TLS encryption for data sent to our website, limit staff access to what is needed to prepare your order, and use reputable hosting and payment providers. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

- Ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of marketing messages at any time
