They apply to our website, pay stub generator, and any document you order from us by WhatsApp, email or any other channel (the “Services”). By using the Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. If you use the Services for a business, you confirm you are authorized to act for that business.
What our Services are
PayStubz is a document preparation tool. We format the information you provide into pay stubs, payroll records and tax form templates, and calculate withholding based on that information.
PayStubz is not:
- your employer, or a payroll provider acting for your employer
- a CPA firm, accountant, attorney or registered tax preparer
- affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the IRS, the Social Security Administration, any state agency, or any employer, bank or lender
We do not verify employment, income or identity, and our documents are not proof of employment or income. Nothing on our site is tax, legal or financial advice. For advice, consult a licensed professional.
Your responsibility for accurate information
You are solely responsible for every piece of information you give us. By placing an order, you confirm that:
- all information is true, complete and accurate
- the document reflects wages or payments that were actually paid
- you are the employer who paid those wages, the person who actually received them, or someone authorized by them
- you have the right to use any names, business names, addresses and identifying numbers included
We calculate taxes from the figures you supply. We are not responsible for errors that come from information you entered.
Prohibited uses
You may not use the Services, or any document we produce, to:
- misstate your income, employment, employer or pay history to anyone, including a bank, lender, landlord, property manager, insurer, government agency or court
- apply for a loan, lease, credit, benefits or any other advantage using information that is false
- create a document in the name of an employer you did not work for, or that did not pay you the amounts shown
- impersonate any person or business, or use their name, logo or identifying numbers without authorization
- file false information with the IRS or any tax authority
- commit fraud or break any federal, state or local law
Making false statements to obtain a loan, credit or government benefit is a serious crime under US federal and state law.
Our right to refuse or cancel
We may refuse, cancel or stop any order, at any time before delivery, if we believe it is inaccurate, incomplete, or intended for a prohibited use. If we cancel before delivery, we will refund what you paid. We may suspend access for anyone who violates these Terms and may report suspected fraud to the appropriate authorities.
Orders, pricing and payment
- Prices are shown on our website in US dollars and may change at any time; changes do not affect orders already paid.
- Payment is due before a document is released for download or sent to you.
- You can preview and correct your document as many times as you need before paying.
- Orders placed through WhatsApp are confirmed only when we send you a written order summary and receive payment.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Accuracy of calculations
We use current federal and state tax tables and try to keep them up to date. Tax rules change and individual situations vary, so we do not guarantee that calculations are correct for your specific circumstances. If a calculation error is our fault, we will correct the document free of charge.
Intellectual property
Our website, software, templates, design and content belong to PayStubz and are protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal licence to use documents you purchase for your own lawful purposes. You may not copy, resell or redistribute our templates or software.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that any document will be accepted by any third party.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PayStubz and its owners, employees and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order that gave rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PayStubz and its owners, employees and contractors from any claims, losses, penalties, damages and legal fees arising from (a) information you provided, (b) your use of any document, or (c) your violation of these Terms or of any law.
Third-party services
We use third-party services such as WhatsApp and payment processors. Your use of them is also governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or practices.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Governing State], USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [Governing State], and you consent to their jurisdiction.
